Palbociclib is a medication developed by Pfizer which is used to treat HR-positive and HER2-negative breast cancer. It is sold under the brand name Ibrance. It is given either with the combination with other hormone therapy or alone. The recommended oral dosage is Palbociclib 125mg for adults once a day and it is given for 3 weeks. It is given in hard capsule form that needs to be taken with water. Avoid taking grapefruit or grape juice when on medication. Infertility issues are there with the medication. Patients with lung disease should avoid taking the medicine as it causes breathing troubles.
