Thalidomide is an immunomodulatory agent used to treat multiple myeloma, treatment of graft vs. host disease (GVHD) after bone marrow transplant, skin disease, and complication of leprosy. It is sold under the brand name Contergan. This drug is also prescribed to pregnant women to relieve nausea in the late 1960s. Take Thalidomide capsule by mouth with water once a day at least 1 hour after the meal. Each capsule is 50 mg and should be stored in a cool and dry place.
