Vigabatrin tablet 500 mg is an anti-epileptic medication, authorized to treat refractory complex partial seizure and infantile spasms in adults and infants respectively. The vigabatrin 500 mg is used along with other medicines for treating complex partial seizures in adults and children who are aged at least 10 years. Vigabatrin treatment can cause serious adverse reactions and should be used only by individuals who have not been able to manage their seizures with several other existing medicines. Vigabatrin is taken as advised by your doctor at the prescribed dose and duration. Do not abruptly interrupt taking this drug as it may be responsible for worsening your condition. All the respective patients should undergo vision tests on a regular basis during and after completing the treatment, as this medication may result in vision loss.
