THE RULES
I won't have too many, so please be careful to follow them.
I won't have too many, so please be careful to follow them.
1) Treat other as you want to be treated. Always the golden rule. The people here are already in enough pain, be nice to them!
2) Please remember that this is the internet. Do not post anything too personal. You never know who is reading what you post, and who will take it too far, and who might get hurt.
3) That being said, it's the internet! Don't believe everyone who posts here. The administration has no way of checking for valid medical degrees. Take every bit of advice here with a grain of salt. Consult your primary care physician or specialist before doing anything radical, such as increasing, decreasing, adding or subtracting any medication from your daily routine. This message board, it's staff, and it's member are NOT responsible for any medical mishaps you may encounter based on your time here.
4) Please try to avoid controversial topics, such as religion, politics, and morals. This is a site for helping people, not starting arguments. If you want to argue about that stuff, go somewhere else. Should a thread become controversial or appear to be heading in that direction, the administration locks, moves, or deletes the thread. We try to keep the forum a safe environment for everyone.
6) Always be cautious when giving out personal information. If you want to contact a member outside of the board, such as on facebook, by telephone, or in person, be sure proceed with caution.
7) This message board is rated PG-13 and all members must be 13 years of age or older per Proboards' Terms of Service.
8) Member's real names and email addresses are never given out by the administration. We only require an email address so that we may contact the member (including registering for the forum). Emails are hidden on the site, unless the member chooses not to.
9) While censors are not in place on the forum, vulgar language is greatly frowned upon. In most cases it is caught early, the post modified, and actions taken against the member (including contacting them about their language usage)
10) We do track IP addresses, but rarely find reason to use this feature. The only reason we would utilize it is if someone needed to be banned from the site.
