Ceritinib is used in the treatment of metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with ALK +Ve tumors as detected by an FDA-approved test. On the basis of ceritinib capsule study the recommended dose is 450 mg administered once a day with food. Food may range from a light snack to a full meal. If a dose of ceritinib tablets is missed, make that ceritinib dose unless the next dose is due within 12 hours. Doses of ceritinib more than 450 mg should not be administered with food because food may increase the systemic exposure over the 750 mg fasted dose.
